Tanjungpinang Customs Revenue Exceeds 2025 Target
November 11, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

The Tanjungpinang Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise reported customs and excise receipts exceeding Rp32 billion and Import Tax (PDRI) surpassing Rp2 trillion up to September 2025, beating the 2025 target. These figures represent cumulative revenue collected since the start of the fiscal year.
The results are attributed to intensified supervision, including the issuance of 133 Enforcement Notice Letters (SBP) for customs violations, seizure of more than four million cigarettes, and three narcotics enforcement notices (SBP‑N) that confiscated over eight kilograms of methamphetamine and 13 milliliters of “happy water.” The total value of seized goods is estimated above Rp21 billion, averting an estimated loss of nearly Rp7 billion to the state.
This performance enhances the customs contribution to national revenue and demonstrates the effectiveness of coordination among government agencies, businesses, and the public. The office pledges to maintain high‑quality services and expand compliance education for traders.
