Makassar Records PAD Rp1.8 Trillion 2026 Target Rp2.3 Trillion

Makassar City recorded PAD of Rp1.8 trillion up to 9 December 2025. This represents a 12.5% rise from the same period in 2024, when PAD was Rp1.6 trillion.

The increase is attributed to higher taxpayer compliance and improved local tax administration. Bapenda head Andi Asminullah said the positive trend is expected to continue through the end of the year.

For the 2026 fiscal year, the city aims for PAD of Rp2.3 trillion, a target considered realistic given the ongoing optimization of tax management. Achieving this level of revenue will support municipal development projects and public services.
