Bondowoso Tax Office Boosts Revenue with Door‑to‑Door Visits in
December 12, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

The Regional Revenue Office (Bapenda) of Bondowoso Regency, East Java, has intensified its revenue acceleration strategy ahead of the end of 2025. It aims to achieve at least 92 % of the regional budget target. Head of Bapenda Slamet Yantoko affirmed this commitment on 12 December 2025.
Key measures include door‑to‑door visits to hotel and restaurant operators and direct coordination between sub‑district heads and village officials for the collection of Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB‑P2). Bapenda also requires real‑time tax deposits and summons large taxpayers who have not responded to sub‑district appeals. Additionally, the office collaborates with the Inspectorate and the Prosecutor’s Office to strengthen education and enforcement of standard operating procedures.
Out of the Rp17.37 billion target for PBB‑P2, collection had reached only 71.13 % by early December 2025. The intensive actions are expected to close the gap and help meet the 92 % target by year‑end. Achieving this would boost regional revenue and improve tax compliance among businesses.
