Pangkalpinang City Collects 16.65 Billion Rupiah in PBB-P2

Pangkalpinang city reported tax receipts from the rural and urban property tax (PBB-P2) amounting to 16.65 billion rupiah through 30 November 2025. Regional Finance Chief Muhammad Yasin presented the figures at a meeting on 8 December 2025.
The increase followed the conclusion of a tax amnesty that waived penalties and principal interest in November. With an 18 billion‑rupiah target, collection reached 92.5 % and the number of taxpayers rose 3.46 % year‑on‑year.
Despite nearing the goal, authorities face challenges such as inaccurate property tax records and taxpayer reluctance linked to economic uncertainty. The finance office remains confident it can secure the remaining 1.35 billion rupiah before the fiscal year ends.
