The West Java Regional Treasury Office, headed by Fahma Sari Fatma, reported that provincial tax receipts reached 74.45 trillion rupiah through 30 September 2025. This represents a 5.96 % year‑on‑year increase.
Out of total regional revenue of 102.51 trillion rupiah, tax accounted for 66.57 % of the 153.99‑trillion‑rupiah target. The main drivers were Corporate Income Tax (PPh Badan) and Final Income Tax, which grew 6.61 %, while Wage Tax (PPh 21) fell due to concentrated payments of Teacher Professional Allowances and Police Performance Allowances. Value‑Added Tax (VAT) and Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM) declined 1.35 % because of higher domestic VAT refunds.
With expenditures of 87.04 trillion rupiah, the province posted a regional surplus of 15.47 trillion rupiah, indicating solid fiscal health. The surplus underpins social programs such as free nutritious meals and housing financing, and supports food‑security and energy‑resilience initiatives.
