West Jakarta Tax Office Sets 2025 Revenue Target at 75.9 Trillion

Farid Bachtiar, head of the West Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP), announced on 20 October 2025 that the office’s 2025 tax revenue target is set at Rp75.9 trillion. The goal aligns with the Ministry of Finance’s Asta Cita initiative to boost tax contributions to the national economy.

He noted that Indonesia’s economy is growing at about 5.12 percent, making the target challenging. Bachtiar called for intensified monitoring and active communication with taxpayers, including persuasive collection measures.

By 31 July 2025, the West Jakarta office had collected Rp42.29 trillion, a 16.34 percent increase year‑on‑year. Reaching the Rp75.9 trillion target will require additional effort, potentially raising state revenue by the end of the year.
