Purbaya: Rp200 trillion Himbara Channels Rp112.4 trillion Loans

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the placement of Rp200 trillion in five Himbara banks has generated Rp112.4 trillion of productive loans by the end of September 2025. He made the remark during the APBN Kita press briefing on 15 October 2025.

The government allocated the funds to Bank Mandiri, BRI and BNI at Rp55 trillion each, and to BTN with Rp25 trillion and BSI with Rp10 trillion. To date, Bank Mandiri has disbursed Rp40.6 trillion (74 %), BRI Rp33.9 trillion (62 %), BNI Rp27.6 trillion (50 %), BTN Rp4.8 trillion (19 %), and BSI Rp5.5 trillion (55 %). Purbaya noted that this credit flow reduces funding costs and supports financing of the real sector.

Channeling half of the government funds as credit indicates money is circulating among households and businesses, which should boost consumption, investment and overall economic growth. The measure also keeps national financial‑system liquidity ample, reflected in the decline of market rates INDONIA and 7‑day JISDOR from 5.17 % to 4.86 %.
