Finance Minister Purbaya Yudi Sadewa presented Indonesia's Q3 2025 economic data in a working meeting with DPR Commission XI in Jakarta on 27 November 2025. He reported Gross Domestic Product growth of 5.04 percent.
He explained that the growth stemmed from coordinated fiscal and monetary policies, including the placement of 200 trillion rupiah in the banking system followed by an additional 76 trillion rupiah to boost liquidity. This enabled lower loan rates and faster transmission of monetary policy to the real sector.
Purbaya highlighted rising retail sales, vehicle sales, as well as higher Consumer Confidence Index and a Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index of 51.2, indicating economic recovery. He stressed the need to maintain this momentum to support stronger growth in 2026.
