PTBA Coal Production Reaches 35.9 Million Ton, Up 9% in Q3 2025

PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a state‑owned mining holding under MIND ID, reported coal production of 35.9 million tonnes in the third quarter of 2025, a 9% increase over the same period in 2024.

Production rose from 32.97 million tonnes a year earlier, helped by subsidiary PT Satria Bahana Sarana which supplied 21% of output, while the strip ratio reached 5.98. Sales reached 33.7 million tonnes, 56% domestic, and coal transport rose to 30.02 million tonnes, an 8% gain.

Higher output and sales show strong demand both at home and abroad, aiding PTBA in offsetting global coal price volatility and supporting the stability of the national energy sector.
