JAKARTA – The Ministry of Tourism launched the “Saatnya Liburan #DiIndonesiaAja” campaign on 4 November 2025, alongside a package of tax and fare incentives for the 2025‑2026 Christmas‑New Year holidays.
Deputy for Marketing, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, explained that the stimulus includes a 6% PPN DTP exemption for air tickets purchased from 22 October 2025 to 10 January 2026, plus reductions in fuel surcharges, passenger service fees, and landing charges. The government also cuts railway fares by 30%, Pelni sea‑line fares by 20%, and port service fees for ASDP ferries. The ministry aims to reach 1.08 billion domestic tourist trips in 2025.
The measures are expected to boost travel activity during the holiday period, raise consumer spending, and support growth in the tourism sector and the broader national economy.
