Kapuas Regency PAD Hits 216.88 Billion, Beats Target

The own-source revenue (PAD) of Kapuas Regency in Central Kalimantan reached 216.88 billion by the end of November 2025. This amount exceeds the target of 174.99 billion, representing 123.94 % achievement. The figures were released by the regional government.

Vice Regent Dodo attributed the result to higher regional tax payments, reflecting greater taxpayer awareness and compliance. He also highlighted digitalization of tax payments and services, which makes transactions faster, easier, and more transparent. The regional revenue office (Bapenda) added outreach activities, a “door‑to‑door” (jemput bola) approach, and the 2025 Regional Tax Rally (Gebyar Pajak Daerah) that rewards compliant taxpayers.

The regency aims to maintain stable tax receipts to fund education, health, and infrastructure programs. Bapenda plans to keep optimizing collections through innovation and inter‑agency coordination. Detailed breakdowns of PAD sources have not been disclosed.
