Indonesia's Economy Grows 5.04% in Q3 2025, APBN Managed

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said Indonesia’s economy grew 5.04 % year‑on‑year (YoY) in the third quarter of 2025, based on official data released on 10 November 2025. The expansion was recorded nationwide and reflects a broad‑based recovery. The statement was made in Jakarta.
The rise was driven by solid domestic demand, with household consumption up 4.89 % and government spending up 5.49 % (goods expenditure + 19.3 % and personnel spending + 9.0 %). Exports of goods and services increased 9.91 % YoY, while investment measured as Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) grew 5.04 %. The government placed state cash of Rp200 trillion prudently to ensure liquidity and launched stimulus programmes worth Rp34.2 trillion and acceleration projects of Rp15.7 trillion in Q4 2025.
In the current year, the economy added 1.9 million jobs, reducing unemployment by 4 thousand people to 7.46 million and lowering the open unemployment rate (TPT) to 4.85 %. The minister emphasized that fiscal measures are essential to protect purchasing power and to meet the 2025 growth target of 5.2 %. Ongoing coordination among fiscal, monetary and financial sectors aims to sustain stable and inclusive growth.
