Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew 5.04% year‑on‑year in the third quarter of 2025. The pace keeps the economy on track to meet the annual growth target of 5.2%.
Statistics from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) indicate the expansion was driven by solid household consumption, rising investment and coordinated fiscal‑monetary policies. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) also raised its growth outlook for Indonesia in 2025‑2026, labeling the country a bright spot amid global slowdown.
October 2025 inflation stood at 2.86%, within the 2.5 ± 1 percent target range, and foreign reserves reached US$148.7 billion, supporting macro‑economic stability. The government will maintain counter‑cyclical measures, accelerating state spending and expanding social protection for over 35 million families.
