Indonesia Stock Index Hits Record 8,394.590 in Early November

Between 3‑7 November 2025, Indonesia’s Composite Stock Index (IHSG) reached 8,394.590, according to the Jakarta Stock Exchange (BEI). The level represents the highest ever recorded since the index’s inception.
The index rose 2.83 % from the previous week’s 8,163.875. Market capitalisation grew 3.09 % to IDR 15.316 trillion and daily trade frequency increased 6.85 % to 2.16 million transactions, while daily share volume fell 14.37 % to 27.06 billion shares and transaction value dropped 22.46 % to IDR 17.54 trillion.
Since Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa took office, the IHSG has hit six all‑time highs up to the end of October 2025, reflecting market optimism toward pro‑growth policies. Foreign investors recorded a net purchase of IDR 920.24 billion during the week. The data suggest continued market support for the government’s fiscal and monetary measures.
