Indonesia Stock Exchange Hits 8 Million Investors, Many Under 30

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded a total of 8.08 million stock investors by the end of October 2025. New investors accounted for 51.2 % of that total during the year.

This growth outpaces 2024, when the exchange added 1.13 million investors. It was driven by education initiatives such as the Stock Market School, Guruku Investor Saham, and the Road to CMSE 2025 series that reached over 185 thousand participants.

The surge of young investors signals stronger financial literacy and a larger potential contribution to the capital market and national economic growth.
