JAKARTA – On 5 November 2025 the government announced that Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew 5.04 % in the third quarter of 2025, as stated by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.
This rate exceeds the 4.95 % recorded in the same quarter of 2024 and remains below the 5.2 % annual target; the administration aims to boost growth in Q4 through fiscal incentives, including social assistance (bansos) worth nearly Rp30 trillion.
Growth above 5 % signals a stable economy, helps keep Indonesia among the leading G‑20 economies, and underpins the likelihood of meeting the 2025 growth target.
