Indonesia's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that the economy grew 5.04 percent in the third quarter of 2025, slightly below the 5.12 percent expansion recorded in the second quarter. The increase reflects a higher Gross Domestic Product (GDP) compared with the same quarter last year.
Nominal GDP (current‑price) reached 6,060 trillion rupiah, while real GDP (constant‑price) amounted to 3,444.8 trillion rupiah. The processing industry contributed the most with a 19.15 percent rise, followed by agriculture (14.35 percent), trade (13.19 percent), construction (9.82 percent) and mining (8.51 percent).
Year‑on‑year growth rose to 5.04 percent from 4.95 percent in the comparable period of 2024. The government’s 2025 growth target is 5.2 percent, placing the third‑quarter performance close to the goal despite global uncertainties.
