Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa forecasts Indonesiaâs economy will grow 5.6â5.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2025. The projection exceeds the 5.04 percent growth recorded in the third quarter.
The rise is attributed to the governmentâs fundâplacement policy with Himbara banks, which has lowered loan and deposit rates, and to stimulus measures such as cashâtransfer (BLT) payments and transportâfare discounts. These actions are intended to boost household purchasing power and credit activity.
Achieving the fourthâquarter target would bring annual growth to the governmentâs 5.2 percent goal, providing certainty for businesses and investors. The outlook may encourage investment in both the capital market and the realâsector economy.
