Tax Services at Sibolga and Pandan Offices Suspended Due to Flood
December 1, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

The Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) for North Sumatra II announced on 28 November 2025 that face‑to‑face services at the Sibolga and Pandan tax offices will be suspended temporarily because of flooding. The suspension applies to KPP Pratama Sibolga and KP2KP Pandan until the situation improves.
Heavy rain caused floods and landslides in the city of Sibolga and Tapanuli Tengah regency, part of a wider disaster that has affected Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra since 24 November, resulting in hundreds of deaths and isolated communities. Access to the tax offices is blocked, but the DJP continues to provide assistance through online channels such as the Kring Pajak hotline (1500‑200), the .id website, and its Instagram account @pajaksumut2.
Taxpayers are advised to use the digital services for filing and inquiries while the offices remain closed. The DJP office will monitor the flood situation and announce the reopening of services as soon as safety is ensured.
