Tax Evasion Suspect Held in Bekasi Over Rp1.15 Billion

The West Java Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP) transferred suspect AR to the Bekasi District Prosecutor's Office on 29 November 2025. AR, alleged to manage PT RCB, was detained for not remitting deducted tax.

Official statements indicate the state's loss from AR's actions totals Rp1.15 billion, violating Article 39 paragraph (1) letter i of the Tax Crimes Law (UU KUP). Prior to the handover, Kanwil DJP and the Police Unit for Tax Crimes (PPNS) of Metro Jaya Police conducted a summons as part of the investigation.

The handover marks the final stage of the investigation and reflects the tax authority's commitment to enforce the law professionally. The case is expected to serve as a deterrent for other taxpayers considering similar violations.
