South Jakarta Tax Office Auctions Vehicles of Tax Defaulters

The South Jakarta Tax Office (Kanwil DJP Jaksel I) conducted an online auction of two vehicles seized for tax arrears. The auction was held on 4 November 2025 via .id at the Jakarta IV State Assets and Auction Office (KPKNL IV).

The sale follows active collection steps—warning letters, compulsory notices, and seizure orders—under Law No 19/2000 on Tax Collection and Ministerial Regulation No 61/2023. Cooperation with the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) supports legal enforcement to restore state revenue.

Among the two cars, a 2019 Honda BR‑V fetched IDR 140.3 million, while a 2015 Toyota Avanza remained unsold. The proceeds increase tax receipts and aim to deter non‑compliant taxpayers.
