Palangka Raya’s tax office, together with Samsat, the Central Kalimantan police traffic division, and Jasa Raharja, carried out a motor vehicle tax (PKB) raid on 1 December 2025 in front of Sanaman Mantikei Stadium, Palangka Raya. The operation lasted one day and focused on vehicle document compliance and PKB payment.
Authorities inspected 519 vehicles—319 motorcycles and 200 cars—and identified 72 vehicles with expired PKB (66 motorcycles and 6 cars), amounting to arrears of Rp33.24 million. Forty‑two vehicles (36 motorcycles and 6 cars) paid their tax on the spot, generating Rp25.84 million in revenue.
Kabid Eddy Sunarto said the raid aims to optimize regional tax revenue and will be repeated regularly to strengthen fiscal self‑reliance. The joint effort among local government, police and mobile Samsat services is expected to improve vehicle tax compliance in the area.
