Jakarta, December 4, 2025 – About 10,000 company employees in the DJP Jakarta Special Office jurisdiction have not yet activated their Coretax accounts, the online tax administration system. Head of the office, Irawan, urged individual taxpayers to activate their accounts promptly.
Coretax is required to file the 2025 Annual Tax Return (SPT) that will be submitted in 2026, with the deadline for individuals in March 2026 and for corporations in April 2026. Without activation, taxpayers cannot access the electronic filing service. Irawan noted that activation can be completed through the DJP portal.
The tax authority also called on tax consultants and the media to promote the activation to prevent technical issues during the filing period. The office will continue to screen employee data as the deadline approaches. Timely activation is expected to facilitate SPT submission by all staff.
