PT Aesthetic Secures Bonded Zone Permit for US Cosmetic Export

PT Aesthetic and Health Beauty, a cosmetics manufacturer in Demak Regency, obtained a Bonded Zone (Kawasan Berikat) utilization permit from the Central Java‑DIY customs office. The permit enables the company to export products such as powder, lip tint, eye tint, compact, concealer and cheek tint to the United States.

A Bonded Zone is a designated area where imported or domestic goods are stored for processing, assembly or combination before re‑export, and it provides fiscal incentives including exemption from import duty (bea masuk) and from Value‑Added Tax (PPN) and Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM) on raw material imports. The firm reported an investment of IDR 181 billion in 2025, projected to rise to IDR 436 billion by 2029, and employment of 240 workers expected to increase to 503.

Customs officials expect export earnings to grow from IDR 72 billion in 2025 to IDR 325 billion in 2029, while also stimulating local businesses such as retail, food services and accommodation. The company also plans to ship cosmetics to the United Kingdom, Australia and Poland, expanding its international market reach.
