JAKARTA – The Police Special Task Force for Optimizing State Revenue (Satgasus OPN) issued a call on 6 December 2025 for palm‑oil businesses to comply with existing tax regulations. The appeal was made in coordination with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE).

Satgasus OPN chief Henry Muryanto stressed that the sector’s contribution must be matched by tax, customs compliance and accurate export reporting, noting that false reporting harms state revenue and distorts fair competition. The DGT identified 463 CPO exporters who under‑invoiced by declaring crude palm oil as fatty matter or palm oil mill effluent, and together with DGCE the task force blocked the export of 87 containers of such CPO.

DGT Enforcement Director Eka Sila Kusna Jaya urged taxpayers to conduct self‑assessment and amend their tax returns before any enforcement action. Taxpayers who fail to correct their filings face legal action, and the initiative aims to raise compliance and foster a healthier business climate in the palm‑oil industry.
