Haykal Kamil Urges Taxpayers to Activate Coretax Account

Jakarta, 8 November 2025 – Actor Haykal Kamil posted a video urging taxpayers to activate their Coretax account, the online tax administration system of Indonesia’s Directorate General of Taxes. The message was shared on his social‑media account on that date.

Coretax activation is performed entirely online: users select the activation function, confirm they are registered, enter their Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), and provide the email and mobile number previously used in the DJP Online system. After submitting the data, a temporary password is sent to an official @.id email, which must be changed to a permanent one.

Failure to activate the account could prevent filing the 2025 personal income tax return, which will be submitted through Coretax beginning in 2026. The Directorate General of Taxes has published an official guide to help taxpayers complete the activation.
