Jakarta, 8 November 2025 – Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance announced a plan to restructure the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) at its headquarters. The reorganization will follow the ministry’s 2025‑2029 strategic plan.
According to Finance Minister Regulation (PMK) No 70/2025, the DJP will be clustered by structure and function in line with the Coretax administration system, and will strengthen tax supervision, internal control, and services of large and mid‑level tax offices. The aim is to align the agency with modern tax‑technology standards.
The restructuring is intended to improve tax oversight and help meet national revenue targets. Implementation can begin no later than one year after PMK No 124/2024 takes effect on 31 December 2024.
