Finance Ministry Prepares New Tax Compliance Monitoring

The Ministry of Finance will issue a specific regulation on tax compliance monitoring after a meeting on 2 December 2025. The meeting was attended by officials from the Directorate General of Legal Affairs.

During the session, the RPMK (Regulation on Tax Compliance Monitoring) concept was refined to align with existing laws. Currently, tax oversight follows circular SE‑05/PJ/2022.

The forthcoming PMK will replace SE‑05/PJ/2022 and provide clearer legal basis for tax officers conducting monitoring. Once approved by the finance minister, the regulation will apply to taxpayers nationwide.
