DJP South Jakarta I Awards Charter to and 118 Taxpayers

On 10 November 2025, coinciding with Heroes’ Day, the South Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes held a ceremony at Artotel Suites Mangkuluhur, Jakarta. The office presented Taxpayer Charters to , 118 taxpayers and their partners. The awards aim to highlight their role in fostering collaborative tax compliance.
Financial Ministry expert Iwan Djuniardi stressed that tax compliance is a cornerstone of national development as mandated by the 1945 Constitution. He explained that the Charter initiative aligns with the Coretax digital platform (digital tax system), which seeks to simplify tax administration. The tax authority also pledged to enhance staff competence and public service ethics.
The event is intended to strengthen the partnership among the tax office, taxpayers, media and businesses, encouraging sustained voluntary compliance. By showcasing partners such as that improve tax literacy, the government aims to build public trust in the tax system. This move forms part of the national strategy to improve revenue collection and public services.
