December 9, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

The Directorate General of Taxation (DGT) under Director Bimo Wijayanto issued Director‑General Regulation No. PER‑21/PJ/2025 on 28 November 2025, redefining the procedure for submitting complaints within the DGT. The regulation covers tax service complaints, tax‑related criminal reports, and violations of the Code of Ethics and employee discipline.
The revision aligns the complaint process with the DGT’s organizational changes and aims to simplify reporting for staff and the public. Official channels now include a toll‑free phone line (021‑1500200), email, the online portal ., the Coretax taxpayer portal, in‑person service at information offices, and written letters to the Director General or unit heads.
The regulation specifies minimum information requirements and provides sample forms for each complaint type. These changes are intended to make handling more effective, transparent, and accountable, while PER‑21/PJ/2025 repeals PER‑18/PJ/2014, PER‑7/PJ/2019, and selected earlier provisions.
