Depok Offers PBB Amnesty, Waives Penalties and Cuts Principal

The Depok municipal government is running a PBB tax amnesty from 10 November to 31 December 2025 to mark Heroes’ Day. The scheme allows taxpayers to settle outstanding property taxes under special relief conditions.

Relief includes a 100 % waiver of administrative penalties and principal reductions of 20 % for arrears of 2022‑2024, 30 % for 2019‑2021, 40 % for 2015‑2018, and 50 % for 2012‑2014. Taxpayers who pay the 2025 tax year receive only the penalty waiver without a principal discount. The measures were announced by Depok’s Head of Regional Revenue Division II, Anak Agung Kompiang Supriyanto.

The initiative aims to ease household tax burdens and boost local tax compliance. The amnesty ends on 31 December 2025, after which regular rates resume.
