Cimahi City Sends Property Tax Notices via WhatsApp Blast

Cimahi City began delivering Property Tax Notices (SPPT) to taxpayers via a WhatsApp blast on 6 December 2025. The electronic delivery replaces the traditional paper mailing of the notices.

Bappenda head Mardi Santoso said the WA blast lets taxpayers instantly view their assessed PBB amount and payment deadline online. Taxpayers whose data are incomplete or who are not comfortable with digital services will still receive a physical SPPT.

Upon receiving the notice, taxpayers can settle the tax electronically through QRIS or a virtual account, eliminating the need to visit the tax office. The tax must be paid within six months of the SPPT issuance, highlighting the need for timely compliance.
