Cimahi City Removes Property Tax Late Fees Through December
December 1, 2025 • Ben Asmadeus

Cimahi City in West Java announced a waiver of administrative penalties for Property Tax (PBB) payments through 31 December 2025. The announcement was made by the city’s Head of Finance and Revenue, Mardi Santoso, on Monday 1 December 2025.
The waiver builds on the ten‑percent and five‑percent property‑tax reliefs introduced in January 2025. Mardi said the removal of penalties aims to boost taxpayer compliance and timely payment awareness. He noted challenges such as incomplete taxpayer data and limited adoption of digital payment systems.
Eliminating the penalties removes extra costs for taxpayers who settle their tax before year‑end. The finance office will further facilitate payments by promoting QRIS and virtual‑account options, allowing taxpayers to pay without visiting the tax office.
