The West Java provincial government introduced a new motor vehicle tax (PKB) payment scheme that allows installments. The announcement was made in Bandung on Monday, 27 October 2025 by Governor Dedi Mulyadi.
Installments can be made through the T‑Samsat app and also cover the Traffic Accident Fund (SWDKLLJ). Taxpayers must have a BJB account, register on T‑Samsat via BJB Digi, and must not have outstanding PKB from previous years.
The scheme gives taxpayers flexibility to set payment dates that suit their cash flow, with an autodebit system that processes payments automatically. This is expected to improve vehicle tax compliance and make the payment burden more manageable.
