Thousands of Fresh Graduates Join National Internship Batch 2

JAKARTA – The government officially launched the National Internship program batch 2, enrolling 62,754 participants, all fresh graduates from universities. The launch was announced on 28 November 2025.

A total of 4,667 companies and 47 ministries and agencies offered 87,632 internship slots, but only 71.6% were filled due to strict selection. Compared with batch 1’s 16,601 participants, enrollment rose by 278%. The government provides a direct stipend to participants for six months.

The Minister of Labour plans to open registration for batch 3 on 24 November 2025 to expand work experience and recruitment opportunities. Participants are expected to apply technical skills learned at university. The scheme is viewed as a government investment in youth employability.
