Supreme Court Swears in 9 Justices, 1 Ad Hoc, 2 Tax Judges

The Supreme Court of Indonesia held a plenary session on Thursday, 23 October 2025, to swear in nine justices and one ad‑hoc judge. The ceremony was presided over by Chief Justice Sunarto at the Jakarta judicial complex.

Among the appointees, Budi Nugroho and Diana Malemita Ginting were designated as Supreme Court justices for the State Administrative Court (TUN) specialized in tax matters. Nugroho previously served as a judge at the Tax Court, while Ginting was the chief auditor at the Ministry of Finance’s internal audit unit. Both candidates cleared the Judicial Commission’s selection and passed the fit‑and‑proper test conducted by the DPR’s Commission III.

Their appointment follows Presidential Decree No. 117/P/2025, issued on 14 October 2025 by President Prabowo Subianto.
