Purbaya Stresses Public Trust at 79th Oeang Day

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa emphasized the importance of maintaining public trust during the 79th Oeang Day ceremony held at the A.A. Maramis Building in Jakarta on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

The theme “One Ministry, Guarding Economic Goals” underscores the need for unity across the Ministry of Finance to achieve the government's 8 percent economic growth target, noting that fiscal and monetary policies succeed only when backed by public confidence.

Purbaya stated that public trust is a prerequisite for economic stability and linked the Oeang Day celebration to national economic sovereignty and the inspiration of youth to contribute to Indonesia’s development.
