Prosecutor Recovers Rp5.05 Billion Tax Debt from Catering

The Tabalong District Prosecutor’s Office, in cooperation with the Tabalong Regency government, pursued unpaid regional tax on food and beverage services on 14 Oct 2025. The effort targeted catering businesses that had not settled their tax obligations.

Prosecutor Anggara Suryanagara reported that the State Prosecutor’s legal team collected Rp5.05 billion. The collection was authorized by Special Power of Attorney No. B‑875/BAPENDA/800.1.11.1/IX/2025 and involved legal assistance and compliance enforcement.

The transferred funds are expected to boost the region’s original revenue and demonstrate the prosecutor’s role in safeguarding state assets. Anggara said the outcome could serve as a model for stronger local tax enforcement.
