The Palembang City Regional Revenue Office reported tax receipts of Rp761.5âŻbillion as of midâOctober 2025, representing 65.09% of the Rp1.17âŻtrillion target. The amount includes payments from 14 local tax types. The city aims to meet the full-year tax goal by yearâend.
Most taxes are close to their goals, such as the nonâPLN electricity tax at 94.03% of target, and foodâbeverage and hotel taxes at 80.89% and 80.52% respectively. In contrast, taxes like parking services, artsâentertainment services, and property tax (PBBâP2) remain below 76% of their targets. Revenues from nonâmetal mineral tax (28.13%) and swiftletânest tax (13.84%) are especially low.
To reach the Rp1.17 trillion goal, the office must collect roughly Rp408.5 billion in the remaining two months. Head Marhaen expressed confidence that the 2025 target can be achieved or exceeded.
