National Nutrition Agency Closes MBG Partner Registration Portal

Indonesia's National Nutrition Agency (BGN) closed the MBG partner registration portal on 6 November 2025 at 17:00 local time after receiving 8,471 location proposals. The portal had been open for three days to collect applications.

BGN considered the number of proposals sufficient to meet the national SPPG demand, and the closure aims to prevent a concentration of applications in specific regions. A technical verification team will assess each site's suitability, capacity, and compliance with operational standards.

The verification process is intended to produce a balanced allocation of partners, enabling nutrition services to reach underserved areas. BGN indicated the portal will be reopened in a later phase with a more targeted mechanism.
