Merry Riana Urges Taxpayers to Activate Coretax Account for 2025

Motivator Merry Riana is urging taxpayers to activate their Coretax account, the administration system that will be used for electronic filing of the 2025 Annual Tax Return. She stresses that account activation and digital‑certificate registration will simplify the filing process.

The Directorate General of Taxes reports that as of 14 October 2025 only about 2.05 million individual taxpayers have activated a Coretax account, far short of the 14‑million target. Of those, roughly 1.2 million have also registered an authorization code or electronic certificate, which is required for secure filing.

Activation is done on the website coretaxdjp.pajak.go.id by entering the NPWP, registered email and mobile number, then following the prompts until a temporary password is received by email.
