Komwasjak Listens to Academics and Business Groups on Tax

Komwasjak held a Forum Listening event at the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) in Malang on 22‑23 October 2025. The meeting invited academics and business associations to voice their views on tax and customs services.

Chair Amien Sunaryadi highlighted the Taxpayers’ Charter, which outlines eight rights and obligations as a framework for fair service. Participants discussed procedural certainty, data‑driven simplification, and a site visit to Ganesha Putera Perkasa tobacco plant to examine illegal cigarettes and excise‑rate structures.

The collected feedback will be compiled into policy recommendations submitted to the Finance Minister, reinforcing Komwasjak’s oversight role and supporting a more transparent, equitable reform of tax and customs administration.
