Kapuas Regency Rewards Taxpayers with Appliances and Motorbikes

The Kapuas Regency Tax Office (Bapenda) in Central Kalimantan held a Local Tax Rally on 6 December 2025. The event targeted taxpayers who paid their taxes on time.

The Local Tax Rally is an incentive program that rewards compliant taxpayers, aiming to boost compliance with regional taxes that fund public services. Prizes include three motorcycles, electric bicycles, mountain bikes, washing machines and refrigerators.

Regency officials expect the incentives to raise taxpayer motivation and increase tax revenue. The initiative also strengthens cooperation with the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government on vehicle and non‑metal mineral tax administration.
