Finance Minister Launches 'Lapor Pak Purbaya' WhatsApp Complaint

JAKARTA – Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa officially launched the ‘Lapor Pak Purbaya’ complaint channel via WhatsApp. The service allows taxpayers and the public to report any suspected wrongdoing by employees of the Directorate General of Taxation (DJP) or the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC).

Reports can be sent to WhatsApp number 0822‑4040‑6600, where a dedicated team receives and categorises them by type and risk level. The team then validates each submission before any follow‑up action is taken, and responders are not guaranteed an immediate reply.

If a report is confirmed, the implicated staff will face appropriate sanctions, and the team will continue to monitor the case until complaints are resolved.
