Finance Minister Highlights Weakness in Lapor Pak Purbaya

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa highlighted a weakness in the Lapor Pak Purbaya complaint platform that operates via WhatsApp. He noted that reporters often do not answer calls when the verification team tries to reach them for further information.

The lack of response hampers the team’s ability to verify complaints. To address this, the minister said a single phone number will be designated for contacting reporters.

Since its launch, the channel has received 15,933 reports on tax, customs and excise matters, with 13,285 slated for further verification and 2,459 consisting only of greetings or compliments.
