Bank Indonesia said reserves at the end of October 2025 were 149.9 billion USD, up from 148.7 billion in September. The data were released in a BI statement on 9 November 2025.
The increase stemmed from the government’s global bond issuance and higher tax and service receipts, while BI pursued rupiah stabilization amid heightened global financial market uncertainty.
The reserves now cover about 6.2 months of import financing and six months of external debt payments, well above the international adequacy benchmark of three months. BI views the level as supporting external sector resilience and macro‑economic stability.
