DJP Urges Government PR Teams to Promote Coretax Account

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) is inviting public‑relations teams from all ministries and agencies to join the Coretax account activation campaign. Activating a taxpayer account is the first step toward filing the 2025 Annual Income Tax Return. DJP stresses that this move is essential for Indonesia’s digital tax transformation.

The initiative was launched at the Bakohumas Thematic Forum, gathering 129 PR officers from 68 ministries and agencies. Participants were instructed to activate their tax accounts via Coretax and register an authorization code, assisted by tax facilitators. They are expected to serve as role models for other taxpayers.

DJP aims to receive about 14 million tax returns for the 2025 fiscal year, yet only 2.6 million taxpayers have activated Coretax accounts so far.
