DJP to StressāTest Coretax Ahead of 2025 Tax Return Filing
October 14, 2025 ⢠Ben Asmadeus

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) will conduct a stress test of the Coretax system to prepare for the 2025 Annual Tax Return filing. The test, scheduled for this month, will involve 20,000 internal staff simultaneously. Its purpose is to verify that the platform can handle a surge of users next year.
Coretax is an online portal for taxpayers to complete and submit their Annual Tax Returns. DJP has launched a corporateātax return simulator and is preparing a version for individual taxpayers, accessible with a National ID number and a preset password. The simulator assumes a trading company with revenue not exceeding IDR 50āÆbillion and without finalātax schemes or other deductions.
A successful stress test would allow Coretax to process all returns without interruption during the 2025 filing season. Ongoing education and simulation tools aim to guide taxpayers, reducing filing errors and easing the reporting burden.
