Bank Indonesia Holds Benchmark Rate at 4.75% in October 2025

Bank Indonesia (BI) decided to keep the benchmark BI Rate at 4.75% in October 2025. Governor Perry Warjiyo said the deposit facility remains at 3.75% while the lending facility stays at 5.5%.

The rate level reflects a cumulative drop of 150 basis points since 2024, the lowest since 2022. The decision aligns with inflation forecasts for 2025‑2026, projected around 2.5% plus‑or‑minus 1%.
