Jakarta, 10 November 2025 – Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the government will not introduce any new economic stimulus package in the fourth quarter of 2025. The comment was made during a press briefing on Monday.
He noted that stimulus measures for 2025 already total Rp30 trillion, with an additional Rp16.2 trillion earmarked for programs in Q4, bringing the yearly allocation to Rp46.2 trillion. The measures include graduate internships, income‑tax (PPh) incentives for tourism workers, food assistance, and six‑month premium discounts for JKK (Work Accident Insurance) and JKM (Death Insurance) for non‑wage workers.
By foregoing new stimulus at year‑end, the government will focus on implementing existing policies to sustain household purchasing power and maintain national economic stability amid volatile global conditions.
